What does a monthly glasses insurance subscription cost?
This depends on the price and type of your glasses, but our cover starts from as little as £1.99.
Am I covered for accidental damage?
Yes, accidental damage is covered for glasses as standard.
How does the Arma Karma glasses insurance subscription work?
Just enter the details of your item and a little about yourself, choose your charity who we’ll donate 25% of our revenue to, and sit back knowing your glasses are protected!
What is the maxmium value I am covered for?
Each item on a policy can be up to £1500 in value.
I've scratched my lenses is this covered under my insurance policy?
Superficial damage such as scratches or marks. that doesn’t affect the usability of the glasses, are not covered.
Can I insure non prescription glasses as well as prescription glasses?
Yes, we can ensure all eyewear including sunglasses and non-prescription glasses. If you are insuring prescription glasses, make sure to include the cost of the frames as well as the lenses and any coatings, in the item value.
Can I cover glasses of someone under 18 on an adult's policy?
That’s fine! As long as the policy holder has proof of ownership/purchase, as these are required if/when a claim is made.
How do I cancel my glasses insurance subscription?

Can I insure different types of glasses under the same policy?
Yes, you can! With our subscription, you can add up to five items, and even get a multi-item discount on your policy. For example, you can cover reading glasses, sunglasses, and prescription glasses i.e. varifocals, bifocals, and photochromic lenses. If you are unsure, talk to us on our live chat we are available Monday – Friday 9-4.
Can I add items to or remove them from an ongoing glasses insurance policy?
Not a problem, simply get in touch on our live chat or email email@example.com and we can amend your policy for you.
I need to make a claim. What do I do?
Simple. Head over to Claims, where our expert claims team will help get everything sorted. Alternatively, please call 0333 400 9048 (local rate call) and a member of the claims team will assist you
Please be aware you’ll require proof of purchase or ownership to claim. This could be a reciept, bank statement, email confirmation, etc.
If I do need to make a claim, how long will it take to receive compensation?
We do our best to get claims resolved as quickly as possible. Usually we can resolve a claim within 48 hours, however this may depend on what type of claim is being made.
What is the excess if I have to make a claim?
This is dependant on the price of your item and what you choose, our excesses are £35, £75, £125, and £175.
